Opening of the Grands Bains Spa in Monętier (Serre Chevalier 1500)
Consisting of large pools of thermal water, the Grands Bains in Monętier have been built around a natural hot water spring, with water at 45°C, at the bottom of the ski slopes in Serre Chevalier 1500.
A brief history...
At the start of the 18th century, the commune of Monętier-les-Bains became aware of this natural resource, and decided to build a spa establishment by the spring. The thermal water was reputed for its medicinal virtues.
Roman-Irish area
This area is reserved for adults only, with saunas, hammams, indoor pool, various private showers, Vaucluse jets and a sun terrace with a Jacuzzi.
The Wellness area
The Health and Beauty institute at the Grands Bains offers a range of individual treatments, available in packages or ŕ la carte. There are hydrotherapy treatments, massages, facial and body treatments, and much more...
